Suite pricing

What a stadium suite actually costs

Suites are quoted, not shelf-priced, so this page gives you the bands we use ourselves when someone asks what to budget — by league, with catering and fees broken out, and with the things that genuinely move the number explained.

The short answer

  • Suites are priced for the whole room, including every ticket in it — never per person.
  • NFL suites typically run $15,000 to $45,000; NBA $8,000 to $30,000; NHL $7,000 to $25,000; MLB $4,000 to $20,000.
  • Catering adds roughly $85 to $130 per person for a substantial spread.
  • Fees and taxes add roughly 8% to 20% on top of the suite price.
  • A flexible date window is the single biggest lever on what you pay.

Suite prices by league

NFL suites

$15,000 – $45,000

Typical capacity
12 – 24 guests
Home dates
8 – 9 per season

The scarcest inventory in American sport. Primetime and divisional games sit at the top of the range.

NFL suites and venues

NBA suites

$8,000 – $30,000

Typical capacity
12 – 20 guests
Home dates
41 per season

Huge date choice. A midweek November game can cost a third of a spring weekend in the same suite.

NBA suites and venues

NHL suites

$7,000 – $25,000

Typical capacity
12 – 20 guests
Home dates
41 per season

Often the same room as the building's NBA team, on a softer price curve.

NHL suites and venues

MLB suites

$4,000 – $20,000

Typical capacity
12 – 30 guests
Home dates
81 per season

The most affordable and most flexible suite in major American sport.

MLB suites and venues

Ranges are for the entire suite before catering, fees and taxes. Playoff and postseason games price well above these bands — commonly two to four times a regular-season game at the same venue.

What catering costs

LevelPer personWhat it buys
Light$45 – $75Substantial snacks and a shared platter. Works for a short evening event.
Standard$85 – $130A hot buffet with two or three mains, sides and dessert. The default for most groups.
Premium$150 – $250Chef-attended stations, carving and seafood. For when the meal is part of the point.
Bar package$55 – $140Beer, wine and spirits priced per head rather than by consumption.

Outside food and drink are not permitted at any major venue, so catering is a cost you plan rather than avoid. Ordering usually closes three to seven days before the event.

How to read these numbers

Every figure on this page is for the entire suite, including every ticket in it. Suites are not sold per seat, so the per-person cost is whatever the suite costs divided by the people you actually bring — which makes filling the room the single biggest lever you control.

These are planning bands drawn from what we quote most often. They are not a price list, and no suite is sold at a fixed price: availability on your specific date sets the number, and your specialist confirms it in writing before you commit to anything.

Building a budget that holds

  1. Start with the suite band for your league

Take the middle of the range unless you know your fixture is marquee or unusually quiet.

  2. Add catering at your level times your real headcount

Not the suite's capacity. The number of people who will genuinely walk through the door.

  3. Decide the bar deliberately

Either a package figure per head, or a consumption estimate you have actually thought about. Leaving it at zero is how budgets break.

  4. Add 15% for fees and taxes

They run roughly 8% to 20% depending on the state and venue. Budgeting at 15% means a light quote is good news rather than a shortfall.

  5. Divide by headcount

Now you have a per-guest figure you can defend, and a basis for comparing two quotes that describe themselves differently.

What genuinely makes a suite cheaper

  • A flexible date window instead of one fixed date. This is worth more than any other single thing you can offer.
  • A midweek game rather than a weekend one, in any league with enough home dates to choose from.
  • An opponent without a national following.
  • A corner or end-zone suite instead of a sideline one. The view is different; the room is the same.
  • Earlier in the season, before the fixtures that matter come into focus.
  • Telling your specialist your ceiling. It is the fastest route to the options that actually fit it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a stadium suite cost?

For the whole suite: roughly $15,000 to $45,000 for an NFL game, $8,000 to $30,000 for the NBA, $7,000 to $25,000 for the NHL and $4,000 to $20,000 for MLB. Suites hold 12 to 30 guests depending on the venue, so per-person figures typically fall between $400 and $2,200 before catering.

Why do you not publish exact suite prices?

Because they would be wrong. Suite pricing moves with availability on a specific date, and a published number that turns out not to be honoured at booking is worse than an honest range. We publish the bands we use ourselves and quote the real figure once we have checked your date.

What is the total cost for 16 people at an NBA game?

A worked example: a $14,000 midweek suite, plus standard catering at $100 per person for 16 people ($1,600), plus fees at 15% ($2,340), comes to roughly $17,940 — about $1,120 per guest, with parking included. A marquee weekend fixture in the same building could be double that.

Are there hidden fees?

Not from us. Fees and taxes are set by the venue and the state and run roughly 8% to 20%; your quote itemises them before you commit. The thing that most often surprises people is a consumption-based bar tab, which is why we recommend deciding the bar in advance rather than discovering it on the invoice.
